Record the door size, weight, centre of gravity, mounting orientation and available installation space. A hinge load figure alone cannot describe the whole assembly.
Movement
Specify the opening angle, hinge direction and whether closing action or rotational resistance is required.
Material and environment
Describe indoor or outdoor use, corrosion exposure and mating materials. Confirm the required material grade and surface finish.
Drawing and quantity
Include the leaf dimensions, pin details, hole pattern, annual quantity and expected purchasing schedule.
